The school has limited resources, but the need for all children to learn how to interact with each other in a prosocial manner has never been greater. Cooperative learning, play, and effort help to unite people. The equipment requested will provide safe items that will promote participation by reducing the fear of being hurt by a ball or frisbee. The social interactions and learning will be the focus of the activities, not worrying about being injured by the equipment used. Having the right equipment will increase the prosocial interactions of the students, promote active participation, and raise the confidence and skill of the students. The safe play items will make a significant difference in the benefit of the activities and will help to promote cooperation and teamwork.
