My goal is to inspire students to be more excited to read. They haven't been in the building all year due to COVID, and haven't been able to use our class libraries or read any of the ones they have in school. I would love for them to have a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone so they can beome excited about the magical world of reading! In the past years, our 3rd graders have been using the same version of Charlotte's Web to study narratives, and those copies are about 12 years old and bearly holding on. I would like to introduce the students to something new and exciting and connect them to a story they are more familiar with.

About my class
