We are a charter school located in a large city with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. Previously, my students were limited to doing Math with only paper and pencil, and now, they can only show their work through apps on Google Classroom, which is still not effective. I strive to provide my students with a quality math instruction that will allow them to become more independent learners and achieve academic success. These graphing calculators are valuable educational instruments that will allow each student to reach a higher level of mathematical power and understanding. By utilizing these tools during instruction and practice, students will more quickly and readily develop number sense, gain critical insight and reasoning skills, and increase independence while they enjoy what they are learning. Developing their calculator and programming skills now will allow them to be successful in their high school math classes, college and beyond. Thank you for providing them with this exceptional opportunity.
