I need high-interest reading material that will engage them and spark a love for reading. When students can see themselves in the books they are reading, they are much more likely to want to read. I have carefully selected these titles because I feel my students will either see themselves in the books or they will be able to see a window into the lives of others. Everyone can be a reader; students just need to find the right book! I want to help students find books that are the right fit for them. Finding a love for reading is a lifelong gift. It would mean so much to my students and myself if you could help us to obtain books for my classroom library. I use student recommendations when looking for books to add to my library.
