I teach high school students with learning disabilities. These students are on track to earn high school diplomas but need extra help to get them there. In a traditional high school setting, I do lots of modeling and monitoring for comprehension. But in this remote teaching world, only having 1 screen hampers my ability to do that. I often have to share my screen and walk my students through step by step, but when I'm doing that I can't see them to check that they're following along. A second screen will allow me to model and demonstrate for my students while still being able to see, hear, and read comments from them at the same time.
