Students can take what they learn from growing plants with them even after they graduate. By learning about different methods of growing, caring for and harvesting, they can find the best ways to provide for themselves, their families and the community. The greenhouse will allow them to begin planting sooner and will also provide more space as we continue to grow our school garden. Hydroponic gardening is something new for them that they can continue all year long. Students will experiment with the ph of soil, different types of soil and even no soil!
