My students are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, by having a second monitor we are able to not only share out educational materials online but provide full access so everyone involved is able to see each other signing, a critical part in language access and communication. Most of my students do not have fluent language models at home so when we get onto our Google Meets they have an opportnity to chat with all their friends and staff members with zero language barriers! We need more help making the platform more accessible to their language and educational needs.
