My class loves jokes and reading humorous stories. Each student will receive their own copy of each book. Since I am teaching half of my class face to face and virtually, some students will read their book at school and virtual students will enjoy their book at home. The first book will be read as a class during the last week of school and will be followed by writing and critical thinking activities. I will ask students to read the other book the week before school begins next year. I hope that it will make them smile and remind them of the great time they had in second grade.
