Preschool students deserve the opportunity to engage in fun and meaningful learning. As a speech therapist, I’m hoping to provide my students with engaging and fun activities with dual screens! I enjoy using green screens for interactive backgrounds, but one small screen makes it challenging to make virtual learning as engaging as it can be. My preschool students and I will benefit from a second monitor and Apple pencils because it will allow for larger and more screen space, drawing/selection on an iPad, and notation during virtual sessions. One screen makes it challenging to display all the useful information during our sessions. When displaying my iPad on one screen, it is challenging to make specific notes or provide visual supports without a stylus or pencil. The students will benefit from specific notes, more accurate data, and the ability to annotate more accurately. The pandemic has encouraged everyone to be flexible and we have made one screen work so far. However, since virtual sessions will be part of our future, a second monitor would mean so much to us!
