Teachers need two screens to better include remote learners when they are unable to be in the classroom with their peers who are experiencing in person learning. Having a second screen allows students to be an involved participant without compromising their privacy when working with students in person at the same time! Providing both in person and remote learners a safe space to learn will allow them to feel confident in taking intellectual risks to further improve their understanding of the content. A second screen would allow the remote students the opportunity to better communicate instantly with the teacher during instruction thereby allowing for quicker feedback and clarification on the mathematical content.
