Having a second video stream would be the only way to allow remote only students to hear and see the students who are physically present in class. This is really important to my students, who want support in making music in an ensemble setting during hybrid. Sadly, my district does not have the funding to provide this to music teachers and their student musicians. If remote students can not hear or see the students who are physically present, they will not be able to effectively collaborate, learn from others, or make music together. With a second video feed, I would be able to offer the online students with two viewpoints - one viewpoint of the teacher (via my district-provided laptop) and one viewpoint from the back of the room so that students can actually see and hear the musicians who are physically present, and see the entire ensemble playing together along with me conducting.
