Leading our 4 second grade classrooms and collaborating with teachers and students in our first grade classrooms, the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Sets will provide meaningful hands-on learning experiences that address all areas of STEM. Combined with the FLL Explore Class Pack curriculum and materials, we will implement STEM with fidelity, ensuring the most significant academic achievement. Whether working at home or in the classroom, students will identify problems, brainstorm solutions, create prototypes and test their ideas, reflecting on necessary changes or possible improvements, developing a detailed understanding of the engineering design process. The WeDo 2.0 sets are age appropriate and introduce our youngest students to engineering and coding practices that will prepare them for future coding and problem solving experiences. Working with these kits across first and second grade, with the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE Explore curriculum, will provide my students authentic learning experience
