The materials I am requesting for will help my first grade students learn. They will have handouts of questions I ask them and be able to have the questions literally in their hands. They will be provided with sentence frames and starters that they can read along with me. Then, they can practice writing on these handouts and read their responses to the class from the paper. The printer will help me bring worksheets and other resources that will help students learn ; sometimes, it’s easier to understand things when you have it right in front of you.
