In a world where boys dominate the role of computer science, we need more hands on equipment to teach our girls how to code. For the past three years, we have been holding monthly meetings every other week for our Girls Who Code Club. These girls are inspired to be the next generation of women in computer science. Our mission is to learn to code and change the world. We want to give each and every girl an opportunity to learn how to code. These materials will help them learn to code and the importance of coding. We have borrowed the Dash Robots and Sphero Spark+ from other organizations, but we can only use them once a year. It would benefit them to use these materials more than once. Unfortunately, this program is fairly new and is not funded by the school. We would appreciate any and all donations to fund our project.
