All students should be able to get their hands on a good book to read. I am a new ELA teacher and have a very small classroom library. My students have personally picked out these books and promised to put them to good use. Why do my students need a Classroom Library? It supplements class work by increasing students’ vocabulary, quickening their intelligence, and extending their general knowledge. It develops the habits for the students to derive pleasure and information from recreational and informative books. It provides suitable books to the students to satisfy their hunger for reading books and saves them from the harmful effects of reading unsuitable and injurious literature.
