MMS is in need of a new Musser Xylophone for our band. We use the Xylophone all year long in our marching band, concert band, jazz band, and percussion ensembles. The Xylophone that we currently have is at least 20+ years old. We have had it repaired many times. It has a very dead sound due to its age. With a new Xylophone, we would be able to create a more pleasant-sounding instrument. I currently have 16 students in our percussion program so we definitely need to replace the instrument. They also practice fundamentals on the mallet instrument such as scales and rudiments.
