Teaching Special needs kiddos has it's own set of challenges. Making sure my students are comfortable while they are working independently is a challenge. They have independent work time, and during this time, my students are allowed to spread out in my classroom and read independently. My students struggle with sitting in hard chairs all day long, and the wobble cushions on their chairs would help them tremendously. I have noticed a huge difference when my students are allowed to sit on one of the two raggedy bean bag chairs that I bought myself for my students. I purchased them a few years ago, and they now have holes in them, and they leak on the floor. The bean bag chairs, wobble seats, and flexible seating chairs are all constructed with materials that are made to last. It will be extremely beneficial to my students to have flexible seating as well as bean bag chairs and wobble seats. They will really benefit from the pencil grips and sensory beads as well. : )
