When students are excited about their learning their motivation and engagement increase dramatically. Our curriculum includes a fantasy book club unit that kids can really get excited about! This language arts unit is an important chance to make students readers for life by engaging them in fantasy texts that hook them! In order to make this unit successful for all students we not only need copies of fantasy books in a series, but audio books and CD players as well. These audio books wills support struggling readers and give them the opportunity to fully participate in book club discussions with peers.

About my class
