Representation matters. The books I have chosen will allow my students to see the representation of their cultures as well as how children have a voice and choice in fighting for things that they are passionate about. My goal is to teach my students that no matter their age they can affect positive change by being open-minded and working hard when faced with challenges. Listening to all perspectives and working together, can make the change. Words are knowledge and knowledge is the power to be the change that they want to see in the world.

About my class
