Students in these grades tend to use recorders for learning, performing, and playing music. Due to the possible spread of Covid19 we cannot use recorders. I would like to use ukuleles to enhance the students' learning. It will give the students access in hand to play an instrument in a safe environment. Having an instrument in the hands of the students helps to build character, individual learning, as well as group learning and unity. Students can benefit from making music with classmates by using the ukulele in the classroom setting. We would also be able to showcase the learning safely to others and remain masked.

About my class
