Our students remain in distance learning after almost a year. Teachers have been focusing on the core subjects of reading and math. While they do an excellent job integrating STEAM where they can, these activities have often been forced to take a back seat. These at home kits will provide students an opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and explorations. Students can pick up a kit from school and then join me for lessons where I will provide engineering challenges, science experiments, and investigations. Not only will students be given additional face to face time with a teacher, it will provide another opportunity for students to connect with each other, as well as the world around them.
