For the second semester of school I am teaching the entire 11th grade. Doubling the amount of students from first semester, I do not have the budget to get sketchbooks for every student. However, the older students deserve to be treated like the emerging artists they are and will become. These young artists will absolutely benefit from having their own sketchbooks. For most core subjects your textbook holds all the information you need to learn. For an artist, this is their sketchbook. With a pencil and a sketchbook, these young artists can take the first step in exploring their creativity no matter where they are. These sketchbooks will provide an on-going project throughout the entire semester. Students will work on weekly sketchbook projects to explore, experiment, and fully realize their creative potential.
