My student's live in a very rural community and resources are very limited. Many of my high school students have not even heard of the Holocaust. They are eager to learn about the Holocaust. They have expressed a large interest in reading, "The Dairy of Anne Frank". I am excited because they are rarely excited to read anything. This will help teach history. It will also light a spark for the love of reading, as well as, teaching history at the same time. Many students would be reached with the book purchase.
