Our students have been working incredibly hard during these periods of all virtual learning and hybrid learning. During this time, as is the same during a regular year, a student's social/ emotional well being is paramount to success. As part of this focus, my colleagues and I will be working to create an AVID wall of fame that shouts out the good works of students and teachers during this time. Students and teachers that are on the hybrid model will be able to see these display boards in person and see all of the great moves that our AVID students are making as they progress academically and we will also look at ways to post students' success virtually for those that are staying home. This will be a way to recognize students that are putting in the extra effort and a way to encourage all students to keep pushing forward. Students that are recognized will also be sent a prize pack of a water bottle and a pen for their achievement.
