Many children in our area go without consistent meals. Many are likely to come to school hungry; often not having eaten since the night before. When you're hungry, learning is exceptionally difficult. You are agitated, impatient, and tend to have a more negative attitude about your efforts. By providing a snack for them, they can have a basic need filled, and move forward with educational growth. Your contribution will help these young minds learn to read, complete equations, and explore their passions in a healthy environment. This food will help them put their energy toward exploration, rather than thinking about when their next meal will be.

About my class
