Our students are from a very rural area. Most do not have the spare money to purchase necessary items to play their instruments such as Vandoren Reeds and Al Cass Valve and Slide oil. If I could provide the necessary accessories such as reeds, it would save some of my students from having to work extra to save up money. Our students have overcome some incredibly difficult hardships to even have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument. Their accomplishments are reflective of the countless hours spent in preparing for the next performance. Recently our band was spotlighted on WMAZ TV news in Macon, Georgia highlighting some of these accomplishments.
