I provide speech services to my students remotely and rely on technology to keep my students engaged during their therapy sessions. We play a lot of games and using pictures is an important part of each of our sessions. To work with my students in the most effective way, I need an iPad to use with my students, especially my nonverbal, early childhood students with moderate to severe disabilities. I also need an iPadwhile assessing my students. An iPad will provide me access to different apps I use during therapy sessions with some of my other speech students as well. I need an iPad to pair with my current technology so I can provide engaging and interactive speech therapy lessons for my students. The addition of an iPad will make my speech therapy sessions more enriching and help to keep my students engaged and improve their participation.
