By having noise cancelling headphones, students will be able to avoid all of the problems of a noisy classroom. The 34 students in class tend to get noisy even when I try to keep them silent and focus on increasing their reading! If you donate to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their fluency and accuracy by becoming a better reader! We use a program called Amira, which is a self-guided reading program that corrects students in real time. I mainly use the program for my students that have fallen behind due to the pandemic and for the ones that just do not get enough practice reading outside of school.
