The items that I chose, will benefit each individual student by meeting their emotional, behavioral, and sensory needs. I tailor specific activities to address the students particular needs. One method that has shown successful for students with sensory processing disorders is utilizing a swing. The smooth, back-and-forth motion can be soothing and calming for them. Having a variety of objects helps me be able to meet each students individual needs to help them self regulate, and improve their focus so that they are ready to go back to class and learn.
