Learning from home during Remote Learning due to the Covid-19 Pandemic has been a challenge, but more so when our 3 -4-year-olds are learning school readiness skills through a computer screen. However, my scholars are eager to hop on Zoom and make it the best experience ever! Can you imagine a preschool experience without hands on learning? This is the reality for many of our remote scholars! As life must still go on, I would like to bring as much of the preschool classroom experience into their homes. Individualized sensory bins will help in supporting my student's language development, cognitive growth, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction and remaining in compliance with Covid-19 protocols. With adding foam letter and numbers to their sensory bins, my students will have the opportunity to incorporate letter and number recognition in a more playful, hands on approach.
