Our classroom has recently purchased 3 of the amazing sets included in this collection, and we would be incredibly grateful for your help in completing it! Our classroom has 4 blocks of social skills throughout the school day. During these blocks we focus on some specific sets of social skills which include: emotional identification and understanding, readiness and self-help skills, and social skills development! We will use this collection as both a lesson focus and enrichment resource to build deeper understanding, connections, and also for enjoyment as we work together to build these fundamental skill. This will aid in our students’ successes, both in and out of the classroom. As a behavior focus program, our classroom's main goal is to help students develop social and emotional skills and strategies to be used throughout their lifetime. Children learn best through relatable, hands on, and creative opportunities to both utilize and make connections to these skills. The "A Little Spot" collection of social emotional learning resources includes all of those things (and more!) and will prove to be an invaluable resource to our students for years to come.
