Without access to our school library, students have had limited opportunities to engaging new titles, especially in the biography genre. With the addition of these titles, my students will not only be exposed to the magic of the content, but will also allow for more than one student to be reading a specific title at the same time. This will ultimately enhance the quality and depth of our book group discussions. When students feel safe and comfortable in their environment, it allows for fewer distractions and heightened engagement in material. With the addition of comfy, flexible seating, students will have the opportunity to limit distractions and really dive into new, compelling stories.
