While the Spanish teachers at my school use a curriculum for guidance, we do not follow the activities in the textbook. I create all activities on my own from scratch. I try to incorporate as much supplemental material as I can. By purchasing both the digital and print versions of the ¿Qué Tal?® Spanish magazines, I can support my students who are learning remotely from home, and those who have chosen to attend school in-person. Creating unique and engaging lessons is crucial during this unprecedented time. By adding the extra cultural information and linguistic activities that are included in the ¿Qué Tal?® magazines, I am able to give my students resources and inspiration in another way. Teachers Pay Teachers has been by rock through throughout this year. It is my first year teaching and my student teaching was cut short because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. I've leaned on many veteran teachers for support. Teachers Pay Teachers is one of the main ways I am able to reach out for support, but also be supporting fellow educators at the same time.
