Our district along with many others nationwide have a budget shortfall, and as a result trying to get the necessary supplies are not possible. I have been an employee in this district for over 10 years now and it has been over 5 years since our computers were updated. The task we have been given to teach our students both in-person and through e-learning simultaneously has presented many challenges, but I have done what I can with the resources provided. My goal is to reach all of my students equally and with the iPad I will be able to do that much more effectively. The iPad will be used as my way to present to my students in an interactive way in which I can draw and write on my presentations using the pen, and help to explain what I am teaching. My students currently watch me via Zoom as I share my screen with them during lectures/lessons and they have a very difficult time seeing what I am writing on the board. With the iPad I can write these things directly on the screen so that my students at home can follow along and are able to see what I am writing down.
