These materials will be models for online and in person teaching when I tutor. The fort will help me emphasize shapes. The literacy center is needed to increase reading abilities and to have hands on excitement with age appropriate materials. The math materials and the grocery kit will give the students hands on experience with teaching basic financial skills as well as a great help in teaching needs and wants and when to buy or wait. I still would like basic supplies, construction paper, glue, bear manipulative, and counters but these will help. My students are in need of pencils, markers, crayons, dry erase markers, glue sticks, primary writing pads, dry erase boards, headphones, and prizes that I would like to give them for being awesome during the pandemic. Also two weekly star student prizes. I could use as well as a pair of wireless headphones and two large chart paper rolls for me to use, teaching from home. I also personally need dry-erase markers. I am also currently running a remote learning center for kids in grades k-3. These students could use very good wireless headphones, dry-erase markers primary writing pads and regular journals.
