I would love to put the Channie's Easy Peasy 100 sight words in my students' hands. We would practice at school to learn how to use the workbook properly. Then, it could be sent to and from home to reinforce those good handwriting and sight word acquiring skills. When my students learn the 100 sight words, reading will come much easier for them. I'd also like to have the EZread Sound Box kit and Tap & Write CVC words. These will allow my students to manipulate objects as they listen for specific sounds in CVC words. The Elkonin sound boxes have been used for many years to help children learn to read. I have some plain Elkonin boxes in my classroom, but the children I taught in the past have worn them out. The ones that I'm requesting for you to purchase are way more vibrant and appealing for kindergarten children. Please consider purchasing these items for my students. They'll be so proud of themselves as they apply the skills they learned.
