Students have been using computers all year. Now that students are back in the classroom, I want to give them the opportunity to write, color, and do all the art projects I've missed doing with them. I want to give students who are in my classroom their own pencil boxes for all the supplies (colored pencils, pencils, notebooks, and more) they need to transition from online learning to in-person instruction. Supplying my 3rd graders with their own supplies will not only give them their own set to keep them safe and healthy but will prevent their families from worrying about paying for things during these hard times. Getting supplies they may not have at home will encourage them to practice their handwriting, art, and journaling. I am looking forward to teaching my students in person and helping them feel like school is getting back to normal.
