I am requesting a color printer. I print a variety of materials for my students in speech-language therapy! I currently see students in Pre-K through sixth grade, and our daily lessons depend on providing engaging, eye-catching activities, including speech therapy "drill" worksheets and games, language expansion games, mini-books, scavenger hunts, visual schedules, and matching activities (and many more)! With the option to print materials in color, I am confident that learning tools and interventions will be easier to produce, easier for students to use, and will inspire students every day! This year, speech-language therapy has depended heavily on home activities, and over half of my caseload is participating in distance learning. I always try to provide and send home materials that will keep kids motivated to complete their speech and language home activities, as carryover and practice are KEYS to success. For some students, items such as visual aids and schedules are ESSENTIAL for success in the home and in the classroom. My school district does not have color printers, and this seriously limits the quality of the materials that I am able to provide!
