These materials will be used in the classroom during center play, allowing them to learn about diversity through play, listening to stories as they follow along in their own book, and using our sensory skills. All of these skills are getting our student's Kindergarten ready and learning about all of our emotions and feelings and how to deal with them in a safe way. Through this project, these students will really grasp the idea of diversity and community in our classroom and beyond our classroom walls. Learning through play is the best way for our students to learn about their needs and others in a safe, inclusive environment.
