I was recently chosen to work as the IT liaison in my school to help meet the technology needs of the students, teachers, and the classroom. One thing my school is lacking at the moment is a proper IT toolkit so that I can repair the various tools necessary for learning such as SMART boards, copy machines, and other devices. With a proper IT kit, I will be able to service the devices in-house and without delay, providing minimal interruption to the learning process. The kit would allow me to act as a "first responder" to technology needs in the building. In the interest of forethought and safety, I think it would be best to have two kits, one readily on hand and another to act as a backup in case something happens, as things are wont to do. I think that providing quick fixes and repair work would greatly benefit this school.
