I came from a high level high school and baseball program to a new school and program to make a difference. The students in my school have a high poverty level and certainly do not have the financial freedom to buy equipment and uniforms that other students have. I came to this school to give these kids a great experience and to win! This program has won 7 games in the last 7 years. I come from a program that was in the final four of the state tournament the last 4 years. I want to bring that success to kids that have not realized their own potential. My new team has no money for new uniforms or equipment. Currently my team can not even wear the same uniform because we don't have enough of any one uniform. ALL of my Batting helmets are damaged and broke. Other schools do not have to buy that those things because parents buy them. I can not ask that of my kids. I have been coaching for 29 years and I have not ever taken on a opportunity like this. I bring a lot of baseball knowledge and experience but I need your help to transform this program for kids that actually will appreciate everything you provide for them. Simple things will make huge differences to these kids.
