Kindergarteners come to school with BIG feelings at times. It's sometimes hard to really understand what and how they are feeling when they are not (and most of the time) don't know how to express themselves using words. The most helpful and powerful way to teach young children is by reading the books that help them make connections to themselves. Providing them with books about feelings, kindness, friendship, and more will help them gain strategies and words to express themselves and really understand how to self-regulate instead of throwing a tantrum.

About my class
