Students, especially those with special needs often have an increased need to move. This need to move and wiggle can result in what may be perceived as intentional misbehavior by the teacher. It can also result in ineffective learning. Sensory diet methodology allows for students to have motivating movement breaks at regular intervals throughout the day. This movement allows all students to gather the physical input their body needs to be able to concentrate on their schoolwork. This enhances their ability to behave appropriately and concentrate on activities and assignments to get the most out of their school day. This sensory path will be used for these sensory breaks to help us learn!
