6th grade math is tough. But these super students do their best with what little they have! I want to help students to not only learn, but to ENJOY math, and these school supplies will help them achieve their dreams and goals, both at school and at home. You don't realize how something so simple as a notebook and a pencil can make such a huge impact on a student until you see it in their hands. My students were blessed with a small Christmas gift (hat, gloves, book, and piece of candy) from a generous local donor, and although the gift was small, I'll never forget the looks on their faces when they were told it was THEIRS. These school supplies will allow students to be hands-on in their math learning while still keeping safe and following COVID protocols. Students can no longer share pencils, scissors, paper, headphones, or markers, and with so many students having to complete their work virtually, it is imperative that they have their own supplies to use both at school and at home, especially since so many students cannot afford them on their own. I look forward to partnering with you to help these students further their education, and I thank you in advance for your generosity!
