When students can communicate and know they are heard and understood, they feel valued and appreciated. Face masks and remote learning is making it difficult for all students to be truly heard. Students are having difficulty connecting with each other and feeling valued. Microphones may not seem like a big deal but hearing students is of huge importance. With available microphones, the soft voices of students will be much easier to understand. When students realize how important they are and the immense value in their voice. they feel a stronger connection to each other and their work. Students need to be heard when they read, share thoughts and ideas, feelings and choices. Help us give kids a way to share their voice.
