COVID has made virtual learning particularly difficult. Still, as a teacher, I will do everything I can to help my 7th and 8th grade students continue to learn, refine their math skills, and be successful in high school and beyond. Each student is unique, so my instruction is unique to each student. There is no "one size fits all" model when it comes to successful learning; I treat each student as an individual. This platform will help me individualize instruction in a virtual environment, which is more important than ever. We cannot let our students fall behind during this time. Access to resources like IXL will ensure that we keep students engaged and learning, whether they are in the school building or at home.
