These materials will specifically be used at her home while we are in virtual learning. I will be using the hand weights and weighted pencil grips to help with her hand tremors while engaging in art projects. Weighting down objects has been shown to help decrease hand tremors. She is a 12th grade student that had goals of becoming a make up or tattoo artist. Since her brain injury, these tasks have become very difficult for her. It is important as her occupational therapist to have therapy sessions that directly reflect her goals in school and after school career. Also, having the easel for art will allow her to reach up during art projects will work on strengthening her arms.
