Due to the pandemic, using paper and pencil has become somewhat of a safety issue. Some of my students have laptops, some do not, with this active board it would allow ALL of my students to have access to participating in online lessons. It would also allow me to connect my virtual students with my face to face students. Having this additional technology will increase student engagement tremendously. Student engagement in 6th grade is very important in assisting in the transition from elementary to middle school. Having my students stay connected with technology will promote student learning and engagement.
