The use of technology will provide my students access to relevant educational programs. An Apple iPad will be beneficial for my school based and virtual students. My school based students will improve their grammar skills by actively engaging in interactive reading and writing apps. They will be able to practice real word math problems that will make math more meaningful. Teaching math virtually can be very challenging especially with special needs students. An iPad will enable me to work more effectively with them. They need explicit, scaffold instruction and repetition to retain a skill. With the iPad, I will be able to work out the problems simultaneously as the students work them out with me.
