Today, technology in the classroom is so outdated that students would rather stay home where their technologically inspiring video games are more engaging! We have a brief window here with new virtual reality technology to bring some wonder and inspiration into the classroom before this technology becomes ubiquitous in students' homes. In this activity, students literally dive into the human bloodstream and learn about new technology that can cure Sickle Cell Anemia through genetic editing! How cool is that?
